Xavier Furniture is predominantly manufactured from solid Mahogany timber that is plantation grown and kiln dried. Some painted finished pieces included some MDF content for its extreme resistance to weather and humidity instability.
Construction
Xavier Furniture is hand crafted, using traditional methods. Features include Dove tail joints on draws and allowance features for the natural movement of solid timber can be found in panels and drawers. Many of our pieces feature beautiful hand carving.
Finishes
Stock Lines are available in one or two finishes choices, proven to suit the character of the piece. Our clients can also special order pieces in a broad selection of stained and painted finishes. The Gold and Silver finishes of Xavier Furniture are leaf gilding.
If you are colour matching to existing furniture in your home we recommend you special order Xavier Furniture in RAW form and work with your local French Polisher to match your new furniture to your existing pieces.
Sizing
Sizes listed are measured from the extremities and are quoted as height x depth x width. As the pieces are handmade sizing can vary by up to 20mm.

Stocks held in our
Whilst measures are taken to allow for the natural movement expected of solid timber furniture, extreme temperature and humidity conditions can affect your furniture. Do not leave your furniture in extreme conditions such next to fire places, in constant air-conditioning or direct sunlight. Do not drag your furniture.
Furniture should be regularly waxed to enhance and feed the timber.
